our organic beginnings.

The ecobean+green brand was started in Burlington, Vermont in 2012 by a local couple struggling to balance a busy lifestyle with healthier eating habits. They realized the struggle was not unique to them and decided to take a risk and do something about it by opening a small café – the first in the area to serve organic, 100% gluten free, gmo free + 100% soy free food and beverages. Founders Justin and Trisha believe that food is medicine and that when you educate your customer and support your local farmers and food purveyors, the entire community benefits, from a health and economic perspective. In 2017, they expanded their menu and operations into a second, larger location and in 2020 they launched retail product lines into stores and homes near you!
